PAIGE IRVINE | 4th YEAR | FOREIGN AFFAIRS
MEET THE LATE NIGHT DIRECTOR
Well hello! My Name is Paige and I am a fourth-year majoring in foreign affairs. I am from Yorktown, VA (757!)and in my free time I like to eno with my friends, read true crime novels, and spend as much time as I can outdoors.
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN UPC?
As the director of Late Night, I lead meetings with my committee and guide them throughout the year towards fulfilling our mission. I work together with my committee members to create unique events at times when students most want to have fun...at night. Overall, as director, I try to facilitate growth and build a trust between the Charlottesville community and our members
WHAT DOES UPC MEAN TO YOU?
It's a support network that you would never expect to find, but turns out to be one of the greatest experiences at this University. It's an organization that lets your creative mind wonder, and generate amazing events that everyone in the Charlottesville community can enjoy.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT UVA?
Social Justice & Gender violence because it made me look at the world in a whole new light, and shaped my pre-law path in terms of the type of law I would like to practice.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE UPC MEMORY?
My favorite UPC memory is winterfest during my 1st year. My friends, who never attended any UPC sponsored events, went with me this one time just because I had never built a ginger-bread house during Christmas. It was so sweet and by far one of my favorite memories at UVA.
